Current responsibilities at The RisKontrol Group GmbH (2000-present)
Dr. Kreuser, building on 24 years of financial modeling at the World Bank, founded The RisKontrol Group GmbH in 2000 for the development of state-of-the-art tools and techniques for and consulting on the strategic analysis and management of financial risks due to uncertainty in interest rates, exchange rates, commodity prices, macro-economic factors, etc. associated with asset/liability portfolios. He is responsible for designing and building tailor-made, enterprise-wide, integrated, and open risk management models for strategic asset/liability management and for providing services in risk education, risk reviews, research, maintenance, and client partnership programs. Some of the main clients are central banks, ministries of finance, pension funds, and insurance companies.
International Reserves Management Advisor for the IMF (2000-present)
Dr. Kreuser, under the aegis of the International Monetary Fund, provides expertise (advisory, technical, and training) to central banks on reserve management, the development of risk management capabilities, and on sovereign risk including asset and liability management.
World Bank experience (1974-1998)
Dr. Kreuser has held several positions at the World Bank during his tenure from 1974-1998 including head of Modeling Support for Finance and Projects and head of the Quantitative Analysis Consulting Group. He led a project, funded by the World Bank Research Committee, for developing and applying state-of-the-art tools for asset/liability management in developing countries for central banks and ministries of finance. He has developed and implemented portfolio models, cash flow models, industrial planning models, health sector models, economic models, and other project sector models. He has provided the modeling leadership for several World Development Reports. He has worked on projects in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and China. He has also advised the Finance Complex on modeling applications on derivatives and regularly taught internal workshops on modeling applications in economics and finance and an international workshop on risk management for central banks and ministries of finance.
Dr. Kreuser co-developed and implemented one of the first dynamic asset and liability models under uncertainty for risk analysis that was applied in the real world. It was regularly used in weekly strategy meetings in the mid-seventies in the World Bank's Treasurer's Department for the management of their fixed income portfolio of around $US 6 billion.
Other experience
Dr. Kreuser is an Adjunct Professor of Operations Research at George Washington University. Since 1982, he has regularly taught a graduate course on the Applications of Linear and Nonlinear Optimization with applications in Economics and Finance. He redesigned that course and established a modeling laboratory at the university to support it. Dr. Kreuser received acclaim for his teaching methods and the course has since become a regular part of the curriculum. He has regularly taught international workshops on the theory and application of modeling in finance, projects, and economics, in Washington, DC; Munster, Germany; and Madrid, Spain. He also taught a workshop on strategic-integrated asset and liability management in Cologne, Germany. Dr. Kreuser has developed numerous analytical tools and techniques for finance and economics at the University of Wisconsin and at the IBM Scientific Center.

Dr. Kreuser holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Programming/Computer Sciences and a Masters and B.A. with Honors in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin.

Datuk Noripah Kamso is the Chief Executive of CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad, a position she assumed in September 2004 after bringing more than 22 years experience in corporate credit and lending: 10 years via a Commercial Bank outfit, and 12 years via Investment Banking outfit. She has managed a Derivatives Broking Outfit via CIMB Futures Sdn Bhd for 9 years.
Deemed a two-time winner of the ¡°Marketing Personality of the Year¡± award (for 2006 & 2005) by Asia Asset Management for the Asia Pacific region and CEO of The Year for Malaysia (2007), Datuk Noripah has successfully overseen CIMB-Principal¡¯s further expansion into new markets and institutional mandates.
She currently serves as Council Member of the Federation of Malaysian Unit Trust Managers (FMUTM) and as Deputy Chairman of FMUTM's Education Committee. Besides being a Past President of the Malaysian Futures Brokers Association (MFBA), Datuk Noripah also authored the book ¡°Credit Decision Making: The Qualitative Credit Approach¡±, which was used by Institut Bank Bank Malaysia (IBBM) as a module for its Certified Credit Professional (CCP) exam.

Gabriel Stein

Lombard Street Research is a macroeconomic forecasting consultancy. The company sells subscriptions to its forecasts to institutional investors around the world. Its research is characterized by its independence and by its monetarist approach.

Manmohan Singh is presently with the Sovereign Asset & Liability Management Division of the IMF in Washington DC. He also continues to write extensively on various topics including, the recent sub-prime losses and capital injections to financial institutions. He was the one of the first to identify the role cheapest-to-deliver bonds as a proxy for recovery value in CDS instruments. Baljeet holds a 1st Class Hon. degree in International Economics from the University of Hertfordshire, UK and has undertaken extensive research at the London School of Economics; as well as with various organisations, including the Hertford Business School, SOAS, London and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). She is also the award recipient of the prestigious Sheikh Rashid al-Makhtoum award for Regional Contribution to Islamic Finance in Asia 2006.

Brian P. Lancaster joined Wachovia Securities as Managing Director, Senior Real Estate Strategist and Head of CMBS Research in July 2001, and is now Head of the 18 member Structured Products Research team.
Before joining Wachovia Securities, Lancaster was a Managing Director (Principal) in Structured Products at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. from 1990 to 2001. From 1987 to 1990, he was a Vice- President in New Financial Products and Engineering at Chemical Securities Inc., and from 1984 to 1987 he was a Senior Capital Markets Economist at both the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Bank of England in London. From 1996 to 1999, Lancaster served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance in Columbia University¡¯s MBA program where he taught courses on the bond and derivative markets. Currently he periodically lectures at Harvard, Wharton, and New York University business schools. Lancaster was voted to Institutional Investor¡¯s All-America Fixed-Income Research Team in 2001, 2000, and 1999, and was voted best CMBS Analyst of the Year in 2003 by Real Estate Finance & Investment, an Institutional Investor publication. In 2006, National Real Estate Investor (NREI) magazine named Lancaster a "CMBS Pioneer" and one of "Ten to Watch" in real estate. The annual top ten list of real estate leaders includes brokers, developers and finance professionals who are shaping the future of the commercial real estate markets. In 2006, Lancaster was awarded the CMSA/CMBS World annual best research report award for his report, Understanding Commercial Real Estate CDOs, an award he also received in 1999. Lancaster is also Vice Chairman of the Global Commercial Real Estate Advisory Council and a Governor of the Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board the Mortgage Bankers Association where he consults periodically with Chairman Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Board.
Lancaster holds an MBA from New York University, a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, where he was selected as an International Fellow, and a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been a contributing author to numerous books and reports in English, German, French, and Chinese on the bond, structured product, and real estate markets as well as the co-author of Collateralized Debt Obligations: Structures and Strategies. His forthcoming book Structured Products and Related Credit Derivatives, co-edited with Glenn Schultz and Frank Fabozzi, Wiley Publications, will be in bookstores this April. Kevin Kerr

Richard Philipson

Richard leads the Investment Process practice. He works with clients on strategic and tactical projects. These have ranged from business decisions around the future shape of the firm to preparing for an important consultant meeting. Much of Richard's work is with fund managers helping them communicate how their firm and investment approach is valuably different.
Richard started in fund management with Schroder in 1987, a great year to learn a lot. He worked in manager selection from 1989 and later ran funds of funds for NM Schroder and subsequently FPAM. He worked on product development and marketing for Fleming / Save and Prosper and then AXA.
Since joining Investit in 2001 Richard has lead around 80 projects to help firms articulate their investment approach internally, which helps them organise themselves, and externally, which helps them make more sales. These projects have covered conventional equity, fixed income, property, hedge funds, funds of funds, funds of hedge funds, diversified growth funds and LDI products. Recent work has looked at the role and success of buyside dealing desks, and how fund managers buy execution and research to achieve value for money in dealing with the sell-side.

Stephane Monier

Early 2008, Stephane Monier has been nominated as Global Head of Fixed Income of the future combined business of Fortis Investments and ABN AMRO Asset Management. The Fixed Income team based in London and Chicago comprises over 80 investment professionals and manages more than €110 billion.
With 17 years of fixed income experience, Mr Monier has specific expertise in international fixed income, credit, asset allocation and currency management. He also has extensive experience developing investment processes combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, servicing clients and managing multi ¨C cultural teams.
Prior to joining Fortis Investments, Mr Monier was head of Fixed Income and Currencies at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority where he had spent eight years. During the first seven years of his career, he managed various euro and global fixed income portfolios for JP Morgan Investment Management in London and Paris.
He is a chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Masters Degree in International Finance from HEC, as well as an Engineering degree (statistics and economics) from Institut National Agronomique in Paris.
