Shanghai Housing Industry Association is a 2nd tier Shanghai industry association formed on August 13th 2004, in accordance to regulatory of “China Industry Guidelines”, and under the leadership of the Shanghai Commercial Association, and the careful guidance of the National Housing Industry Association. Prior to the formation of the Association, intensive researches has been done, together with precious feedbacks and opinions of the members organisations.
Shanghai Housing Industry Association is a non-profit association, comprising participating members of about 200 organisations, located throughout 19 provinces within Shanghai City, which make up 35% of the total real estate enterprises. The total registered fund is 6.14579 billion RMB or 2.5 million USD, which represents more than half of the total real estate registered funds in Shanghai. The total employment comprises close to 10 thousand, which represents 60% of Shanghai's total employment within the real estate industry. Total area of construction per year comprises approximately 10 million square metres, and the total built up area is close to 5 million square metres. After two years of development, a subsidiary association was set up last year.
The mission of the Shanghai Housing Industry Association, is to provide enterprise services to our members. The Association function strictly in accordance to the state law and regulations, government policies, social and moral values, and endeavours to promote the virtues of trust, integrity, honesty and good industrial code of ethics and regulations. Together with improving the cohesion within the industry, and enhancing information dissemination and knowledge sharing. The Association reflect on the feedbacks, requests and demands of our members, and strive to protect the legal benefits and meet acceptable demands of members organisations. Similarly, the Association looks to open up new frontiers in the local and international scenes, to promote cooperation and interaction between real estate industry within Shanghai and other cities, so as to enhance the benefits and development of our members.
During the Opening Ceremony on August 13th 2004, Mr Xu Rong Mao, Director of Shi Mao Group was elected as the Chairman of Shanghai Housing Industry Association. Mr Chen Jing Wei, Chairman of Director's Board for Jing Wei Zhi Di Group, Mr Fan Wei, CEO of Fu Di Group, and Mr Jin Hui Ming, Director of Da Hua Group were subsequently elected as the President of Shanghai Housing Industry Association for the periods 2004 to 2005, 2005 to 2006, and 2006 to 2007 respectively. Chief Editor of the daily “Housing Expense”, Mr Shen Ke Qiao, who is also the consultant for the National Housing Industry Association, was elected as Vice President cum Secretary, Mr Lu Jian, CEO of Shanghai Shi Ye Development Limited and 14 other relevant individuals were elected as Vice Chairman, and Mr Wang Shi Ming and 17 other relevant individuals were elected as committee members.
上海市工商联住宅产业商会成立于2004年8月13日,她是在上海市工商业联合会的直接领导
下,在全国工商联住宅产业商会的悉心指导下,经过广泛的调查研究,依照会员企业的意愿和要求,按照《中国工商联章程》规定组建的上海市工商联的二级组织。
上海市工商联住宅产业商会属非营利社会组织,共有会员单位近200家,分布于全市19个区县,占全市民营房地产企业总数的35%;总注册资金人民币61.4579亿元,美元2500万元,占全市民营房地产企业注册资金总数的一半以上;从业人员近万人,占全市民营房地产企业从业人员总数的五分之三;每年在建房屋1000多万平方米左右,竣工量达500万平方米。经过两年的发展,去年又成立了精装分会。
上海市工商联住宅产业商会的宗旨是为会员企业服务。商会遵守国家的宪法、法律、法规、政策和社会道德风尚,倡导守信用、讲信誉、重信义,执行行业规范和行业标准;团结会员企业,做好信息互通、资源共享;她反映会员企业的意见、要求和建议,维护会员企业的合法权益和合理要求,同时发挥商会的群体优势,积极开拓国内外市场,推动上海市与各地住宅产业之间的交流与合作,促进会员单位共同发展。
在2004年8月13日的成立大会上,世茂集团董事长许荣茂当选为第一届商会主席;经纬置地集团董事局主席陈经纬、复地集团总裁范伟、大华集团董事长金惠明分别当选为2004—2005年、2005—2006年、2006—2007年度执行会长;解放日报《住宅消费》周刊主编、全国工商联住宅产业商会顾问沈克乔当选为副会长兼秘书长,上海实业发展有限公司总裁卢铿先生等14人当选为副主席,王士明等17人当选为第一届理事会理事。
2004年11月3日,商会召开了第一次会长办公会议,会上进一步明确了商会工作要体现为民营企业服务,维护民营企业权益的宗旨,同时下定决心,加强与国内国际住宅产业行业的联系、交流和合作,努力做大做强商会,逐步把上海市工商联住宅产业商会办成住宅产业行业中影响力大的、全国一流的商会。
两年来,住宅产业商会在为会员单位服务过程中,我们组织会员单位多次到二、三线城市考察;多次组织各种沙龙和论坛,为企业提供信息;同时两年中还多次接待日本、澳大利亚、美国、印度等国家的同行,并组织会员单位到国外考察,去年,还与共青团上海市委一起评选了25名优秀(杰出)青年企业家活动,得到市工商联和行业内的好评。
