Professional Experience

Mr. Stuppler has overseen approximately $1.0 billion of investments since joining Starwood in 2004. Prior to Starwood, Greg acquired or developed approximately $750 million properties with APL Japan in partnership with U.S. institutional investors.

Mr. Stuppler also spent seven years with Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate in New York and Hong Kong, where he invested in non-performing loan, equity and mezzanine deals in the US, UK, and Asia; and worked on M&A/ banking deals on behalf of clients such as Host Marriott and Starwood ( acquisition of Westin and ITT Sheraton). Greg has a BBA from University of Michigan and a MBA from Harvard Business School.  

Nicholas Brooke, JP, BBS, FRICS, CRE, FHKIS, RPS is the Chairman of Professional Property Services Limited which is a specialist real estate consultancy, based in Hong Kong, providing to clients a selected range of advisory services across the Asia Pacific Region. Mr. Brooke is a former President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and was the first overseas surveyor to be accorded that honour.

Mr. Brooke is a recognised authority on land administration and planning matters and has provided advice in these areas to several Asian Governments as well as the US State Department. He is also a Justice of the Peace, and a former Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Town Planning Board and a former member of the Hong Kong Housing Authority. He also sits on the Boards of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and is a member of the Hong Kong Harbour-front Enhancement Committee, and is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Coalition of Service Industries, which is the voice of the service sector in Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Election Committee responsible for the selection of the future Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR.

In 1999, Mr. Brooke was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR for his dedicated public service in Hong Kong, and in particular, his valuable contribution to the work of the Housing Authority. He is a member of the Board of Review (Inland Revenue Ordinance) and an active member of Vision 2047, a group of long term Hong Kong residents dedicated to supporting and promoting Hong Kong and is the Chairman of Project Chambers, a grouping from the various professions who are involved in many community related initiatives. He is an Honorary Member of the American Institute of Architects and an Honorary Professor of the Universities of Hong Kong and Chongqing in China, an Honorary Fellow of the College of Estate Management, University of Reading and on the 6 th September 2004 was admitted as a Freeman of the City of London.

Mr. Brooke also sits as a Non-executive Director on the Boards of a number of companies including Shanghai Forte Land Company Limited, one of China's largest residential developers, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, one of Middle East's leading shopping centre developers and of VinaLand, the first Vietnam property fund to be listed on the AIM Board of the London Stock Exchange.

Stephen DeKuyper is Managing Director of Frontier Investment Management Limited and has over 15 years of real estate experience. Originally from Canada where he worked with a shopping centre developer, Stephen has spent the last 13 years working in the Greater China real estate market in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai. He has provided a variety of services to both developers and tenants throughout Mainland China over the last 10 years including property management, project consulting, valuation, due diligence and tenant representation and is experienced in a variety of sectors within the market including office, retail, residential and industrial.

Frontier Investment Management Limited is a boutique real estate services provider that helps foreign investors with real estate investment in China. Services include market research, site selection, valuation and due diligence, brokerage services and project coordination. The firm was founded in 1998 and has it's headquarters in Shanghai, China.

Susan oversees the operations of Beijing office and leads the business development activities. She has over 10 years of experience in real estate field, including JV establishment, contract negotiation, investment opportunity analysis, and market research. Before she joined Macquarie in August 2003, Susan worked in the headquarter of Beijing Urban Development Group as investment manager. She successfully lead the market research, investment analysis, JV establishment for a series of projects. Susan holds an MBA and an M.Sc. degree, and is a licensed real estate appraiser.

Mr. Thomas Liu is the Executive Director and Head of the real estate investment group with CDIB Capital Limited, a subsidiary of China Development Industrial Bank in Taiwan, responsible for identifying and making investment in real estate projects and assets in the greater China region. Prior to joining CDIB, Mr. Liu was the Managing Director of 698 Capital Holdings Limited and also the Chief Operating Officer of a real estate development company, He Qiao, in Beijing , China . Previously, Mr. Liu was Vice President of Corporate Finance at KGI Asia Limited, a regional investment bank, where he advised clients on over US$400 million in international investments. He also worked previously at PKF Consulting Limited, then a global leader in hospitality consultancy services. He has a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management from Northwestern University in Chicago and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and also dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Boston University .

Mr Wang is the Chief of Business Development Department for Harvest Fund Management Co., Ltd.

He involved in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Public Relations and Human Resources in Harvest Fund Management previously.

He worked in Peking University, Shougang Research & Development Co, National Economic Structure Reform Committee Member and Sinochem Corporation. Mr. Wang scored first in the 15th Company Secretary Qualifying Examination and he was selected as No.1 Company Secretary in the 2002/03 Top Ten Company Secretary organised by Company Secretary Association in China. He won the Golden Company Secretary from National Best Company Secretary competition organised by Xincaifu. He assisted company to obtain the best Office of Board in National Listed companies and the most trusted listed company by investors.

Mr. Wang holds Master of Science in IT Management from Peking University.

Zhang Xu, the Director of Funder Group and General Manager of Chengdu Winera Real Estate Co., Ltd

Since 1983, Mr. Zhang Xu had worked in Southwest Electric Power Design Institute. During that period, he had taken part in many national prominent projects.

In 1993, he joined Funder Group in the capacity of manager and director of the board.

In January 2004, he was authorized by the Group to establish Chengdu Winera Real Estate Co., Ltd. as General Manager. During the past two years, he had successfully taken the lead of his Winera team to develop FUND International Plaza, which is a complex covering 18 floor area and the first mini-CBD in Chengdu.

张旭1983年进入西南电力设计院工作，先后主持及参与了多项国家重大设计项目，多次受到院及上级部门的好评。

1993年，张旭加入成都丰德企业发展（集团）有限公司。历任部门经理、董事等职务。

2004年1月，张旭受集团委托组建成都万瑞置业有限公司，并担任总经理职务。在两年的时间里，张旭带领万瑞团队成功开发了位于成都市武侯区航空路的 成都首个微型CBD项目——丰德国际广场。该项目总建筑面积18万平方米，集写字楼、商业、服务式公寓于一体。
